Dalai Lama
Photographing the Dalai Lama was my dream come true there was just the fact that thousands of people were there standing shoulder to shoulder and he moves fast. But when I see his brilliant smile and am in his presence I love everyone. Getting a press pass is the first step to be allowed near him with a camera then you have to get the right angle and stay in that spot for hours - don't go to the bathroom, don't call your friend just practice patience and wait.
Let the Dalai Lama come to you and watch out for the men with rifles guarding him, they don't want you near him.
These were not easy photographs to get. Enjoy each moment from Dharamsala, India, His Holiness's home in the Himalayas.
